Nostalgic Trey Peace

This one goes deep. This new album, “Nostalgic” by 19 year old Trey Peace of Glasshouse, is a project dedicated to his father who passed away. The tape dropped yesterday, on November 12th. It was dropped on that day to honor his Dad’s birthdate.…

Headphones Lie Termanology Esoteric Mic Stylz Illicit D-Tension Effect

This is a freaking massive Massachusetts song. It’s called “Headphones Lie”, off Effect & Dang’s sophomore project “You Don’t Love Me & I Don’t“, that you can grab on UGHH.

Thanks to Mic Stylz for reposting it on his SoundCloud page, he reminded me of this songs existence.

Natural – State of Grace ft April Stanford (Dedication to Martin Richard)

Martin Richard

I’d like to post a very important song, “State of Grace” ft April Stanford. As Natural writes in the description, the donations of this song go to benefit the family of Martin Richard, a young boy, who was killed in the Boston Marathon bombings: Natural was kind enough to make a song and set all this up with his team.

[Q&A] MisterrCha – Q&A @MisterrCha

standingEP

Short Q&A Session with MisterrCha of Producers United

1)How long have you been producing?
I’ve been producing since April 2012.

2) What and who were my musical influences?
Production Wise: J-Dilla, Kanye West, Alchemist, Juwithst-Blaze, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, Boi1Da, Timbaland,
J Dilla’s production really inspires mine due to his really unorthodox approaches to his production e.g
sample choices, syncopated drum patterns and strong emphasis of basslines that hit in the sweet-spot
frequency range with the most avant-garde of melodies (from a sample or original).…
