Fresh off the premiere on DJ Booth, EK of Producers United drops the lyric video for his blogosphere attention-commanding single “I Got You! Off his upcoming “Life in C Minor” project Mitymaose provides very catchy vocals.
“I Got You” is a song about falling in love with a deceitful women, a Cleopatra, but whole-heartedly submitting to her deceitful ways and her allure, DESPITE knowing she isn’t there for your best interest.
Props to 3rd Nation Productions for creating the video.
The heavy sax at the end with the natural landscapes I could just stare at for hours.
Productions by Bueffard Mallary are ALWAYS impressive. I’ll say it again: Bueffard x EK just have the most compatible chemistry.
P.S Oh my GOD – the take of Pusheen the Cat doing a line of Coke goes down in LYRIC VIDEO HISTORY as one of the best scenes. One of the funniest thing I’ve ever scene.
These scenes have the highest quality visual interludes & gifs I’ve witnessed in a lyric video. This person knows what he’s doing. Also “LOL” at Steve Harvey.
The drowning scene & then the horizon appearing @ 3 min was very powerful. I used to not really care about lyric videos. But some of these that people are coming up with are better than REAL videos.
Stay tuned though: a full-fledged video will be released for “I Got You” and if EK is known for one thing – it’s NOT skimping on quality.
Stay blessed. And respect and love to EK – who recently gave me the book “Sing To Me” by L.A Reid to help push my grind in the music industry. He’s a hard working smart man whose always reading and trying to better himself and find ways to get his music out and be different. Using new tools and thinking outside the box. I’m always finding about new tools from him. We need friends like him in the industry to keep going! It takes a very caring soul to do that.
Power is Knowledge. Keep reading.
A few sentences from a book can change your entire life outlook, remember that. Giving you the confidence you needed but didn’t get from your surroundings. Because you need to hear from the people who have DONE what you want to do.
Another strong book people should check out (especially if you are spiritual) is “Super Rich” by Russell Simmons. The stories in there relate directly to the mindset it takes for the music industry, and also just as a human.
I would say this is the perfect song of the month for Black History Month too, coincidently. A conscious track...
