Congratulations to EK whose newest, most highly anticipated visual – “Dress My Fears” has gone viral on the blogosphere – after the influential Examiner Magazine posted this article on it. Produced by Bueffard Mallary – it brilliantly fits the vibe of the track. These two have some of the best chemistry of any producer-emcee combo I’ve seen this decade. Visual by PXVCEGODFILMS
Boston-bred Daniel “EK” Ibeh, has always been one of the most honest and personal rappers in New England. He follows up his successful “Plane Ride” track (about his excitement migrating from Nigeria as a young boy) with this “Dress My Fears” video. The timely track tells it like it is. He unabashedly confronts reality – calling out racism (towards muslims, native americans, and blacks) & political injustice in America.
He does this all while remaining artistically refreshing & keeping the music enjoyable. The song spawns additional thrill with a powerful chorus performed by Simile.
Whether you agree with this track or not, it will evoke SOME type of response from you – which is what music is about. And it will force you to think. So just watch for yourself & soak in the cinematic soundtrack.
Want more? You’re in luck. His “Hands Of Time” EP will be out for free download in just a few weeks – July 1st on his website at http://www.officialEKMusic.com
