The new single ‘Shine’ from hip hop duo Audio Push (who are also a part of Hit-Boy’s HS87 group) delivers a smooth, slick and vintage track whilst being brand new and fresh all at the same time. With references throughout the video paying homage to Chris Tucker and Ice Cube’s Friday (1995) highlighting the memorable scenes juxtaposed with production over a soulful mellow R&B flavoured beat with trap influences strung in there produced by none other than infamous Grammy writer and producer of several hits (Niggas In Paris, Goldie, Backstreet Freestyle, 1Train, Christmas in Harlem and more) Hit-Boy. The cinematography whilst being simple remains effective in presenting a lush, chilled vibe to the video (ignant chain wearing, slow-mo shots of bike riding, vintage rides and a lovely lady teasing the boys) reflecting the lyricism dealing with ‘love interests’. Definitely a song not to miss!
